Risk Assessment & Risk Communication
Risk assessment information must be communicated to decision-makers in a way that reduces errors, bias, and ‘noise’. One of our primary goals is therefore to identify communication strategies that achieve these ends and result in evidence-based decision making.
Sexual Violence
Sexual and gender-based violence are pervasive problems with serious impacts for victims/survivors. Our research aims to understand and prevent sexual violence across multiple settings, including technology-facilitated sexual violence and violence on post-secondary campuses.
Personality & Behaviour
Personality refers to the characteristic ways that people experience the world around them, how they think, how they feel, and how they act. Our research examines the relationship between different personality models and both prosocial (e.g., political ambition) and antisocial behaviours (e.g., cyberstalking).
